Wall and floor tiler — Lubbock County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wall and floor tiler in Lubbock County, Texas. You will be based on a residential construction site. The role involves: • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge Ideal candidate: • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
