Vacancy available: we are hiring a counter butcher in Albany County, Wyoming. The job is in a meat processing plant. Day to day you will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; season and marinate meat on request. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required 6+ years on the tools preferred.
