Lift mechanic wanted in Putnam County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Putnam County, Illinois. The job is at a busy lift company. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Your main tasks: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Rotating shifts.
