Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Polk County, North Carolina. Day to day you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
