Now hiring: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Houghton County, Michigan. The job is on a busy construction site. Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Your main tasks: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience.
