Acoustic insulation fitter — Madison County

Now hiring: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Madison County, New York. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Able to read construction drawings and specifications The role involves install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
