The role involves: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance 1+ years on the tools preferred.
