Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment The role involves give each garment a final press before packing; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure.
