Immediate opening: gtaw welder (Kansas)

Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Stanton County, Kansas. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances On a typical shift you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
