Offshore rigger wanted in Greater London

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Greater London, England. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams The role involves: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
