Now hiring: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Howard County, Nebraska. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime Your main tasks: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $3,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
