Foundry operative wanted in Rapides Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry operative in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. On a typical shift you will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
