We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Newton County, Indiana. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Day to day you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience.
