Fabricator-welder wanted in Karnes County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Karnes County, Texas. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
