Framing carpenter wanted in Penobscot County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Penobscot County, Maine. You will work in a bespoke joinery workshop. What we are looking for: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience On the job you will handle: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw Six days a week, one day off.
