Gas installation technician — Rock Island County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Rock Island County, Illinois. The role involves: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation What we are looking for: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Driving licence for travel between sites 3+ years on the tools preferred.
