Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Macon County, Illinois. The role involves: • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
