The role involves apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Full-time, day shift. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
