Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Pottawatomie County, Kansas. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Your main tasks: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
