Great opportunity: industrial sewing operator (Tennessee)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Wayne County, Tennessee. Day-to-day duties: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
