Cement mason wanted in Okaloosa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cement mason in Okaloosa County, Florida. On the job you will handle: • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
