Commercial refrigeration engineer wanted in Crawford County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Crawford County, Illinois. You will be based in a commercial cold storage facility. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints You will replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
