Great opportunity: gas commissioning technician (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in James City County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Pay around $7,750 per project, based on your experience.
