GMAW welder • Rusk County, Wisconsin

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Rusk County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
