Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Echols County, Georgia. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Your main tasks: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab Full-time with occasional weekends.
