Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Naugatuck Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles Requirements: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
