Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Barren County, Kentucky. You will be based on a busy housing site. Day-to-day duties: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Part-time with flexible hours.
