Horticulturist — Cumberland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horticulturist in Cumberland County, North Carolina. You will work on the grounds of a hotel resort. On a typical shift you will dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. Requirements: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience.
