Prep cook wanted in East Renfrewshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a prep cook in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes What we are looking for: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
