Gas commissioning technician • Marquette County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Marquette County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Day-to-day duties: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray We offer $11,000 per project plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
