Ceramic tiler • Stewart County, Tennessee

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Stewart County, Tennessee. You will work on a residential construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage Your main tasks: • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter Full-time with occasional weekends.
