Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through The role involves run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. We offer ₦75,000 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
