Great opportunity: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in City of Galax, Virginia. You will work on commercial flat-roof projects. You should have: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Willing to work outdoors in all weather On the job you will handle: • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
