Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin. You will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 4+ years on the tools preferred.
