Urgent requirement: we are hiring a retail butcher in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. On the job you will handle: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
