Reinforcement steel fixer • Cumberland County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Cumberland County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
