Urgent requirement: we are hiring a retail butcher in Henry County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Season and marinate meat on request • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required 1+ years on the tools preferred.
