Bread and bun maker • New Hanover County, North Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in New Hanover County, North Carolina. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens You will monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter.
