Formwork carpenter • South Gloucestershire, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in South Gloucestershire, England. On a typical shift you will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations. You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts 2+ years on the tools preferred.
