Floor screeder • Douglas County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a floor screeder in Douglas County, Georgia. You will be based in a residential housing project. On a typical shift you will strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
