We are recruiting: GTAW welder (South Dakota)

Now hiring: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Custer County, South Dakota. Your main tasks: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
