Immediate opening: we are hiring a site carpenter in Franklin County, Indiana. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. Your main tasks: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish You should have: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
