Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Osage County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line Ideal candidate: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage 1+ years on the tools preferred.
