We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing presser in Potter County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a textile finishing unit. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day-to-day duties: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
