Pipe TIG welder wanted in Kenton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Kenton County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Rotating shifts.
