Urgent requirement: argon welding operator (Arizona)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Coconino County, Arizona. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day to day you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
