Urgent requirement: offshore rigger (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Fairfax County, Virginia. You will be based at a power plant. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness On the job you will handle: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Rotating shifts.
