Safety inspector — Mkpat Enin

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety inspector in Mkpat Enin, Akwa Ibom State. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. Day-to-day duties: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements You should have: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
