Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Lafayette County, Wisconsin. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Day-to-day duties: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
