Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Sumter County, South Carolina. You will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); write and edit G-code programs at the control; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand. You should have: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
